SMART Goals with AI-Driven Feedback

This interactive eLearning activity helps learners create SMART goals and receive dependable AI-driven feedback to improve their goal-setting skills.

The Problem

Learners often find it challenging to set effective SMART goals—specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound—which can impact their focus and outcomes. An engaging way to help them develop and refine these skills was needed.

The Solution

I created an AI-powered eLearning activity where learners set SMART goals and receive instant feedback. Through Cluelabs, an eLearning enhancement platform, I connected to ChatGPT so learners get real-time, tailored guidance to refine their goals according to SMART criteria.

The Process

I designed a simple interface and crafted prompts to ensure ChatGPT’s feedback was reliable, clear, and constructive. Learners type their goals, receive immediate insights, and adjust their responses to better meet the SMART framework.

I configured variables and added the widget ID to capture each learner's goal submission.

A loading page signals that their input is processing, ensuring an intuitive and responsive experience.

Reflection

This project demonstrates how AI can provide personalised, just-in-time support. The model can be scaled for clients across different training programs, using AI-driven feedback to enhance learning and skill-building.
